If you're running the server on Linux (we're using Redhat Enterprise ),
login as root, navigate to the server directory (I believe the default is
/opt/macromedia/fcs, and type './fcsmgr setautostart' To turn it off,
'./fcsmgr clearautostart'. It's in the docs that come with the package,
which are also available at
http://www.macromedia.com/support/f...mentation.html.

If you're running windows, I'm not too sure so don't quote me on this...
maybe run services.msc and set the Flash Communication Server service and
the Flash Communication Admin Service processes to Automatic, and under
recovery set the "on failure" options to restart the service... That might
work.

Can anyone else with a Windows Server confirm this?

Subject: RE: [FlashComm] having flashcom start up when server starts

Hi,
My server restarts occasionally (who's doesn't) and I need the flash com
server to startup when the computer starts up automatically without me
having to click on the bat file. Anyone have any ideas on how I should do
this?
