Hello guys,

We're developing a nice conference application that
allows tens of users to participate having a snapshot
as part of their identification. That is, after
logging in, they create a snapshot that is displayed
with their names to help people identificate
participants.

It's really nice, but when we tested with 20, 30 or
more users, we discovered that the server will have to
manage hundreds of netstream objects, since everyone
is being sent all other participants' snapshots. I
tried finishing the netstream, but that would
eliminate the snapshots. I also tried pausing the
netstream, but I don't know if that is effective since
the netstream would still be there. I assume the best
thing would be to simply eliminate the netstream as
soon as the snapshot loads.=20

One thing: I can't use progressive download. So I
can't have the FLVs without FCS.

So I'd like to know two things:=20

1 - Do paused snapshots result in a less burdened
server? Or it won't make a difference?

2 - Does anyone have a better idea?

Regards,

Wilton
