| Hi
Very short question...
Is it possible to connect a lan webcam to the communication server?
And if so can somebody point me in the right direction?
Thanx in advance greetings Willem

| So live broadcasting is only possible through a webcam + computer ?
Or are there other solutions ?

| We tried this a long time ago during the Tincan beta of FCS with an Axis
2100 netcam. We even went as far as installing the cam as a UPNP device on
the PC. Didn't work. Flash doesn't see it as a video source.

| In any case you'll need a flash client grabbing footage from the camera=20
with the camera+netconnection+netstream classes.
There's no way you can plug a camera "directly" into flashcom.
- Andreas, who has been using Webcams over a LAN with FlashCom for a=20
long time and felt he had something worthwhile to say, now disappointed :=
