I am doing some .flv streaming and in the onStatus I am getting an
error of: NetStream.Failed

I have searched around but can't find any documentation on this.
Could someone please provide some insight on where I could find some
information.

Thanks,

In the Oreilly Flashcomm book, Failed is described as "An attempt to use a
Stream or NetStream method failed for a reason not described by another code
value". Probably not much help, but didn't know if that could be found
online.

I should clarify... It is finding the file and actually streaming/
playing it. The error seems to cause no issue but is happening. What
I am really trying to track down is my streaming video for apparently
no reason at all just locks up/freezes with no hopes of recovering.

Thanks,

Are you streaming any Actionscript data? Ie: NetStream.send?

I am not sure of the FCS, I will need to double check that. is there
a huge difference related to this from 1.5?

Thanks,

You can get this for a variety of reasons. But most likely, you are
supplying some invalid args to the NetStream commands, publish, play,
etc.

Ed,

Is there a place that I can find some additional information on this?
Doing a quick look through my NetStream calls, I don't see anything
that should/would be offensive. One interesting thing to does occur,
is the stream doesn't get interrupted but I also don't seem to get
any more status information (although it tends to be sparse anyway).

Thanks for the help!
