Hi Pramod,

Correct me if I'm wrong but for what I recall flashcomm (rtmp-protocol?) has
difficulties with connections more than 15 hops away. You might look at that
by chechking the routation of your connections. Hope this helps?

Kind regards,

Onderwerp: [FlashComm] High latency for web conference on broadband in
SouthAmerica

We are seeing high latency (3 to 4 seconds) for one-on-one video
conferencing in South America. We are using standard videoConference
component in FCS. In the US latency is .5 seconds.
We have done bandwidth check (http://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/) at
both ends (US & South America) and both are at 100 K bits per second. The
up+down traffic is less than 50K bits per second. We freeze the video and
have only audio traffic.
Any ideas on what may be going on and how to fix it? On another note MSN
and Yahoo messenger are reasonable quality -- latency seems to be 0.5 to 1
sec.
thanks
