Author Personal edition is dead and wont be coming back

I've received an email today from Adobe saying that there defiantly
would not be a return of the Personal Edition license.

=20

I'm not sure if it is good protocol to cut and past the email to the
list; I'm almost pissed enough that I don't care.

=20

They have yet to make an announcement but that this decision is final.

=20

I have put my project in stasis and will not be working on this
application unless this lunacy changes in 12 months time etc by which
time I will have moved on to something else anyway, but for now the
minimum buy in for any FM2 project you sell will be a $4500 license.

Dario,

=20

A lot of us feel the same way. That being the case, it translates to: =20

A Market!! I'm hoping they'll change their mind and come out with a
"Personal" -- "Small App" or "Focused App" version that we can download.
Then the cost-of-sale would be reduced and make it profitable.

Hi Dean,

a bit off topic and i apologize in advance for shameless self
promotion, but I do have a personal addition license for sale. I bought
it, and never actually ended up deploying it anywhere. I will sell it
at the price I bought it at excluding the taxes, which is US $499. Mail
me off list if you or anyone else is interested.

regards

-Abdullah
