I can answer that.
Yes it's simple and yes you have to uninstall first.
Back up your FCS 1.5 installation and app folder, uninstall, install FMS2
and copy your apps back in. In 99% of cases the apps will work right away.
If you have modified server config xml files and in particular have added
vhosts then you need to recreate them. The way to do this has been updated
slightly as you can now use an .ini file to do a lot of the config without
modifying xml files.

In short, it's very easy if your install is standard and not very hard even
if it isn't.
