Hi all,

Was hoping someone could help me. Any help would be much appreciated.

What i have at the moment is a video that fires different slides with =
cue points. I'm doing this using my own cue point checker by getting the =
time from the stream. I also pause the video sometimes during =
transitions between slides depending on the cue point and then i play =
the stream again once the transition has completed. I also preload the =
video by 20% before playing.

Now i wanted to convert this code to work with fcs. I was wondering if =
someone could help me out/point me in to the right directions or know of =
some sample code which does the following:
- detect users bandwidith and then preload/buffer a certain amount =
of the video aswell as while it is playing if the buffer gets empty
- seek to a section when the user hits forward(next cuepoint). is =
this possible seek to the position then pause, then fade out the =
previous slide and fade in the new slide and then play the stream or =
does the buffer empty when u pause the stream
- any other generic code stuff like the best way to connect to the =
fcs and manage the connection and netstream.

Hope that makes sense

Also, when you pause the stream does that empty the buffer ?

Thanks,
ben
