Does FMS2 enable recording audio conferences?
|
|
| Harris, Mike 2006-03-21, 5:47 pm |
| Does anyone know if FMS2 provides a way to record a single flv from
audio coming from multiple clients? I've read in past entries that this
wasn't supported with FCS, but what about FMS2?
Thanks!
Mike Harris

Subject: [FlashComm] Flashcom Timing Out?
One thing we use Flashcom for is user tracking -- login and logout time=20
for web-based onDemand presentations. We do it this way so that if a
user=20
happens to close their browser, it's very easy to track logout time.
I'm=20
wondering if a user's connection could be terminated at some point
during=20
the presentation based on the fact that their is no interaction with the
server itself. If they login at 12PM, then proceed to watch a 30 minute
presentation, could their connection be terminated or time-out?
Thanks,
Brandon

| Mike,
=20
this is still not supported. I have asked for this in the past: mixi=
ng audio streams into one. Today the reason is that it uses up to much cp=
u... maybe in the future there will be a more efficient way to do this. =
Anyone have a work around besides passing the mic which requires an appen=
d event?
=20
cheers
Beto
