| Hello all,
We have recently purchased FMS2 and have it up and running. The video will
sometimes bog down however, and will frequently stop. I have taken
necessary steps in my scripting to set buffers etc. for our slower bandwidth
friends. The video will sometimes stop and re-buffer on faster speeds
though. I am thinking that this is a problem with the bandwidth at the
server level. I only have 1.54 mbs connection currently that is sharing
bandwidth with an email server running about 90 or so accounts.
I know the more bandwidth the merrier, but I'm looking for a good cost
effective solution right now. I am considering upping the bandwidth. I
will only have around 5 or 6 concurrent connections right now, but would
like to brace for about 10-15. How much bandwidth should I allocate for
this? Also, I only have 1 gig of ram on the server which is dedicated by
the way. Would more ram speed up the video?
Thank you for your time,
- Josh King
