Hi Everybody, I am new to the list.

I am trying to set up a dedicated server to develop my Flash Comm Video App.
It has the following configuration:

[1] Suse Linux Version 9.3
[2] AMD 64-Bit Sempron 2700 CPU
[3] Plesk 8

When I try to install FMS2 I get this error:

"ERROR: Your architecture , 'x86_64', is not supported by the Macromedia
Flash Media Server."

I have a few questions:

[1] What will I have to do to get it to work. Get an Intel 32-bit processor
or a different version of Linux?

[2] Is anyone using Suse Linux 9.3 to run FMS2?

[3] My domain is administered with Plesk. Will this cause any problems?

I posted these question on FlashComGuru with no replies, so sorry if you are
reading it again.

Thanks
Robin

Robin,
I have run FMS on SuSE 9.3, SLES 9, SLES 10, SUSE 10.0, and SUSE 10.1

It runs perfectly.

When you run the installer make sure you have the netscape/mozilla compat
libs installed.

Then run the installer with the --platformWarnOnly param on the end.
