Hi there,
I=B4m developing an online videomagazine and want to use FMS2 on a dedic=
ated server.
I want to use the Professional Edition with 150 connection but do not ha=
ve a lot of experience with FMS2.
Does anyone have experience with how critical the specs are, especially =
regarding the processor (Dual Xeon 3.2 Ghz).
For instance when I use an Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.0 Ghz, would that give s=
erious problems with this kind of projects. I=B4expecting about 500/1000=
visitors a day.
Thanks for any information about this,
Henk

If you're running the 150 connection license edition then your server =
will
be fine. As always, the more CPU and RAM the better but any dual =
processor
machine will get you a long way.

Are you pushing videos or what are you doing?

Stefan

Hi Stefan,
Thanks for your reaction.
I'm going to stream video's from local videoproducers in the North of the=
=20
Netherlands. We have developed a concept for a Magazine wich we hope will=
be=20
atractive for visitors (culture, music, science, entertainment). For me i=
t=20
is a learning project (flash and fms).
If you are interested I will notice you when we kick off (probably=20
july/august). Of course it is Dutch so it will be hard for you to=20
understand.
Henk
