Hi,

I want to check if my FMS application is still accessible.

At the moment I just do a ping test on the FMS port.

I read in the documentation that there is the possibility to do a ping via
http like this: http://serveraddress:1111/admin/pin...r=adminusername
<http://serveraddress:1111/admin/pin...pswd=adminpassw>
&apswd=adminpassw

I was wondering if this ping does something more then just check that the
port is ok.

Are there other possibilities to check if an application and/or server are
still ok, I was hoping that you can make an instance and a connection to an
application and check if this went OK.

Regards

Cool!
Because I'm afraid that when I just do a ping for example each 5 minutes,
that the ping will not see if you can't connect to the fms anymore.
I was thinking to build in to check the amount of connections (but I read
that there was a bug and that the amount of connections is not always
correct)
