Author FMS doesn't save my stream

Hi There,

I'm having one of the strangest problems I've ever had right now. Hoping
to find a solution, I'm now turning to all of you.

Setup if the application is rather simple; user records a stream, should
be able to view his own recorded stream and the stream should be saved
on the server to be served to other users. Whenever I run my application
from the flash authoring environment all goes as it should be (see
previous sentence). However, when I run the application from the browser
I see the connect to Flash Media Server. I see the stream being created
(in the streams list) with the correct filename, I see it publishing.
But what I don't see is the stream being saved to the server's harddisk.

Has this ever happened to any one of you before, does anyone have a
solution. I'm stuck - feeling rather helpless really ;).

Thanks in advance,
Wouter

Update on the problem:

It has 'something' to do with 'something' that IE handles in a different
way than Firefox. In IE, my NetStream does send a
'NetStream.Record.Start' status, Firefox stops at the
'NetStream.Publish.Start'.

However, when I change the value of 'allowScriptAccess' from
'sameDomain' to 'always' things do work.

Still can't touch the actual problem but it's fixed now. I'd appreciate
it if anyone could give me some more information on how and what. Must
have got something to do with the security sandbox model, right?

Thanks,
Wouter
