help with streaming flvs

| Does anyone have experience with streaming flvs through Flash
Communication Server MX 1.5?
I am able to get the flv to stream on my local machine with the
developer edition that's installed locally, but when I attempt to stream
through the remote server, I'm getting a connection to the application,
but the video doesn't show up in the flv.
If I were using http, adding the flv video mime type might be the
culprit, but I'm using rtmp, so that wouldn't have a bearing in this
case.
I'm not sure if there's any special "work-arounds" for Redhat
Enterprise Linux 3 or Apache 2.0.46, but that's the configuration that
I'm unable to get it working on, whereas, on my local machine I used
IIS. Outside of that, everything is exactly the same.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing the problem?
Thank you,

| Are you using the right addresses? localhost/foo/bar/stream or
133.32.23.23/foo/bar/stream ? Can you give more detail on how you're set up?

| And especially where do your flv files reside - that's something everyone
(including myself) gets wrong when they first try to stream
