| Thanks to you who offered advice on my code. For those of you who care,
the problem that I had was the video was playing very quickly, like a
video on fast-forward, but the audio was playing at the correct speed.
I figured out the problem.
It turns out that the problem was related to the final parameter in the
NetStream.play command. You can specify the file to play, the beginning
point, and the length that you want to play. There is also a fourth
parameter which indicates whether or not the file to be played is in a
playlist. If you pass the number 3 as that last parameter, then the
playlist is reset. If there is no playlist, then apparently the video
gets messed up.
Although I solved my own problem this time, I want to thank those of
you who gave me useful feedback on other aspects of my code. I made
some modifications that will make it more efficient.
