Hi there -

I am experimenting with the Flash Media Server 2 and it looks straight
forward how to use the NetStream Class to capture both audio and video from
a web cam.

I did not find much documentation on how to save on the server as .flv the
video/audio captured. Do you guys have any pointers for me?

Thank you

Elena

No pointers required... FMS does it for you automatically.

Let's say you name your stream "mycam". If you add the record flag to
the publish statement, the server will save an flv in this location:

FMS Install Dir/applications/application name/streams/instance
name/mycam.flv
