Anyone using the T550 in there CIPT network?

Does the video endpoints support Point to Point Video calls like the VT
Advantage without a Tandberg MCU?

Do they play well with meeting place?

Sincerely,

Never used the T550 but I have used the 770 and the 880 and they worked
very well. Depending on what you buy you can set them up as a SCCP
endpoint or a H.323 endpoint. If you get the SCCP endpoint you must
install a patch from Tandberg so the device shows up in CCM. Other than
that you configure both as phones and dial each other just like an
extension and when the other end answers the video comes up.

I just ran this type of configuration as a SCCP endpoint this past week
with no gliches. Mgmt was quite pleased. The patch from Tanberg will
require a reboot of the Pub. So keep that in mind.
