DCDController.exe process terminating and crashing

Anyone have any ideas on this process which is part of
DC-Directory? Seem to have a subscriber that is
crashing regularly on this having an application
exception resulting in dr watsons and force
reboot/freeze of server.

Odd thing is I'm not seeing this DCDcontroller.exe
actively running as a task on any other servers I've
looked at except for this one.

The DCD database folder is 8 meg and journal file is 1
meg.

CCM is version 3.3(4)es49 on OS 2000.2-7sr7
