| Has anyone had to SPAN a CMM on a CAT 6509?
I need to get some sniffer traces and It gives me an error of "used by
service module" How should I get the traces off this. The CMM is just
sending traffic on the same Vlan.
TIA

Can you maybe mirror/span the port that is going to
the call manager server?
What is the issue you are troubleshooting involving
the CMM that needs a trace?

| Why not try ISDN Q931 debug? Or DSP debugs to see what DTMF the DSP's think
they are seeing?

off the VGW.

| Have you used the unity port status monitor tool under
tools depot (downloadable from
www.ciscounitytools.com) to see if it seeing DTMF when
it isn't working as expected? If the key press isn't
in this then it's not being seen by unity. Just
thought I'd throw this out there in case unity may be
seeing it but maybe not acting on it.

all DTMF through the GW would have to be passed
out of band,
unless you're troubleshooting SRST--pstn--Unity
integration in whichcase DTMF are passed inband.
Either way a span of the VLAN should capture traffic
to/from CMM Ibelieve.
