Hopefully these will be pretty easy and straightforward.

1) Is there a way to transfer callers directly to VM like you can in big-boy
CM?

2) I have a hunt-group configured. Right now I have 3 inbound lines shared
across three phones (1001,1002,1003, and finally to AA). If all three are
away from there desks and they put their phones to DND shouldn't it go right
to the AA? Currently it doesn't, it rings through all extensions (although
the phones don't ring) and then to the AA.
