| I have dids configured on our cm that r configured to forward to an outside line. My question is if I call into that did from my cell and it forwards me to a ld.outside number. will that call tie up a port as long as the call is connected. And will the c
harges go on our pri

Wouldn't it be nice if the Carrier's supported Q.SIG Anti-Trumboning ;)

| Personally, I think it should be up to the last redirecting party that should pay the toll. Let's say a client calls me, and I've forwarded my office phone to my cottage. Why should the client pay the toll? It was me who made the decision to play hookie. The same goes for transfering calls.
We've had a request for people to forward their phones off-campus and have had to restrict that to local calls only because of the ways CDRs are cut. If we have more requests we're going to have to work with our CDR billing firm to make sure they follow through on the CDR and catch those. A bit of a pain if you ask me.
