Can anyone tell me what the characters ABCD are used for in route patterns?

ABCD are valid DTMF digits, just not commonly used. Most often used
with AMIS to transfer voicemail messages.

Cool - thanks. I did some google searches and it looks like they're also used for call prioritization.
