Author IPCC questions...
David

I have a few questions pertaining to IPCC that I was hoping someone
familiar with the product could answer for me... Thanks in advance.

1) Is there any flavor of IPCC that does not require CallManager? I
mean, a flavor that could operate as a standalone call center app?

2) My organization needs a fairly simple 5-man call center - is there
a version of IPCC that comes with CallManager and is included in the
price of the CM software?

3) Can IPCC Express run on the same server as CallManager or does it
require a separate server?

If possible, I'm looking for the "Cisco answer" as well as the
practical/real-world answer (which may be the same, I suppose).

Thanks again for any help you guys can provide.

David--

I'm going to bet everyone else to the punch...... look at open source
Asterisk.

But I do not believe there is any IPCC that does not need CM.

The only thing that comes with CM is Attendant console which might take
care of you.... no queuing but it will allow for one number to be
directed to people logged in.

As far as I know you can still run IPCC co-resident on CM. Saves the
cost of a Server in small deployments.

Scott

1) Is there any flavor of IPCC that does not require CallManager? I
mean, a flavor that could operate as a standalone call center app? The
only IPCC that can integrate into a TDM is Enterprise.

2) My organization needs a fairly simple 5-man call center - is there a

of the CM software?

Cisco was bundling a small license of IPCC for new installs, I think it
was 5 agents 5 ports or something like that.

3) Can IPCC Express run on the same server as CallManager or does it
require a separate server?
You can co-reside a small IPCC with a CCM, but consult the SRND to gauge
the size and external server if needed.
