Hello people,

I have the following problem with CLI and huntlist on CCM 4.1 (H.323
gateways, not MGCP).

I would like to have the following: hunt-list with only one line group
(helpdesk), and, in case of no answer, call is forwarded to a mobile phone.
For this, I am using the "Hunt Forward Settings" of the Hunt Pilot (new
feature in 4.1 I believe).

Trouble is: for billing reasons, I need this outgoing call to have a
specific CLI, and I don't seem to be able force it to what I want.

Can anyone help?

Vincent

Vincent,

configure your hunt no answer destination to match a transaltion pattern.
use the translation pattern to modify the calling party name/number, then
modify the called party number to be the cell phone number.

Thanks Wes, I'll try that.

I keep forgetting good old translation patterns, which seem to be a solution
to almost every CCM problem around...

A nice week-end to all

Vincent

Wes,

I can't get this working (and my cisco reseller's helpdesk has been banging
his head against the wall with this too for the last few days).

I have defined the TP 9099 -> cell phone.

When I dial 9099 from DN 8951, everything goes OK: the outgoing call show
the "Calling Party Transform Mask" I have defined in the TP.

When I call the HP 8953, still from DN 8951, it first makes the phone in the
line group ring, then diverts (no answer) onto the call phone, but the
outgoing call shows CLI = 8953 (and not anymore the "Calling Party Transform
Mask")!...

It seems that the HP is somehow overriding the calling number settings of
the TP?...
