Audio format for unity prompts

Hello all,
could somebody tell me what is the correct format for the wav file that
unity 4.0.3 can
play? After i create a new call handler, i try to change the greeting
and when i go to paste from file i get "Unable to paste file"!!! What
kind of Wav file should it be?
