Cisco Unity Pilot Number

| Hi,
I've just finished integrating cisco Unity with Call Manager. For some
strange reason I can't call my Voice Mail Pilot Number. I have already
checked the cisco Messaging Interface, Partitions and Calling Search
spaces. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Best regards,
Sechaba Mokoena

| Hi Sechaba,
For Unity voicemail you won't use the cisco Messaging Interface.
Unless you CCM is integrated with a legacy SMDI based voicemail system
that is connected to the serial port of the CCM then you will want to
disable this service. If enabled/configured but not being used it can
cause issues with access to Unity voicemail.
The phones will need to be able to call the device that has the
voicemail pilot. Depending on the CCM version that can either be a
voicemaill port or a hunt pilot.
HTH,
Kevin
