We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Engineer
***Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
-Configuration Management activities support the development teams
distributed geographically.
Perform builds of legacy software and works to automate current build
processes.
-Manage and enforce software change control processes.
-Interface with engineering and quality assurance to resolve build issues,
build tracking and reporting.
-A business leader in design and development of software for
-Manage and improve the build process (nightly/release) for the development
and test environments on UNIX & Windows.
-Author/maintain installers using Install Shield and UNIX shell scripts.
Manage the AIX & Windows CM systems.
-Education requirements: BS or MS degree in computer science (or a related
field) or may be non-degreed with 3 to 5 years directly applicable
experience.
-The successful candidate should be familiar with Configuration Management,
Source Control systems, ClearQuest, ClearCase, PERL / KSH and other UNIX
scripting languages and their use in developing an SCM system to support
application development.
