Dear all,
how easy is it to change a CCMs publisher name, dns and dhcp
configuration? I altered the values of the computer name and i can't
still make it work!!

the name of a callmanager server cannot be changed unless you export all
data using BAT, build new server, import data using BAT.

Anthony,

BARS would actually be the application you would want to use.

Actually, I believe BAT is the correct utility.

This is because the name of the server is embedded all over the place in
MS SQL Server.

If you run BARS, it will attempt to restore all that saved SQL info,
including the server name. This would cause problems on the restore.

Best bet is to build a new server with a new name, add in your route
groups, CSS, partitions, devices pools etc, then export all your phone
info from the old server and put it in the new one.

The only thing you can BAT though is phones, gateways, end devices, users and the like. As far as I know you can not BAT partitions, calling search spaces, route patterns, etc.

Depending on the complexity of the installation it might be a significant amount of work.
