CRS Historical Reporting migration
|
|

| Hi everyone,
We're using CRS3.1 and have recently built a new CRS4.0(4) server. I'm
ready to cutover every one to the new server but I'd like to migrate my
Historical Reports.
Can anyone think of a way to get my the reports from my 3.1 HR client to the
4.0(4) HR client?
Thanks in advance,
Stu

| I suspect their are table changes, etc making a BARS restore impossible.
I bet since you built the 4.0(4) new there is not a cisco supported way
to move the historical db. You might want to consult/hire a Microsoft
SQL expert who could move it (unsupported) -jason

| How about doing an in-place upgrade of your current system in a lab?
That way you'd get a 4.0-version of your historical db and could just
copy it to the new server...
But I'm absolutely certain it's nowhere near 'supported'
Cheers,
Loni

| Thanks Loni,
I really appreciate you getting in touch! There's always that awful balance
between what makes your life easier and what TAC will support. Sometimes
I'm not sure whose side they are on!
Cheers again!
Stuart
