Basic IPCC Express Script Help?
|
|
| Tech Guy 2006-10-25, 7:11 pm |
| I am wondering if anyone could help me with or provide me a similiar example
of a basic IPCC express script. Using IPCC Express 4.03
Here is a general idea of what I am shooting for, if anyone has a script
that does the same basic function I would love to be able to see it so I can
learn from it.
1. User calls ext. 1411 and hits JTAPI trigger which points to application,
this is working tested using the icd.aef script.
2. User will hit a greeting, greeting will say basically "Press 1 for X,
Press 2 for Y" kinda thing.
3. X and Y correlate to CS Queues? Each CSQ ties to a resource group, and
each resource group has the agents assigned?
I have setup the CSQ, Resource groups and so on.
4. User presses one of the numbers and gets dumped into a queue as
mentioned previously?
I have not been able to figure out the scripting side like I thought I
would. I was hoping I would be able to see how another script was setup and
could figure it out, however I have not been able to find a script similiar
to what I am trying to do.
Any ideas or thoughts? Anyone have anything to share so I can see how to do
this?

| Drop a menu step in right after the accept contact step, add a prompt to the
step, throw the Select Resource under the option you want... Copy it for
each queue you want to create...

| Believe it or not I finally got it! Got my hands on the perfect
script, it is from an IPCC system I am very familiar with and it does pretty
much exactly what I wanted.
So I just have to adjust things accordingly, add here, subtract there..
rename some things and record new wavs.
how do you typically record the wav files? Just from a computer, or phone
or something? Is it just standard wav files?

| Something similar is to use the WebSA interface and use the recorded name with the phone option to record files. The WebSA interface and mediamaster bar has some simple save as options. Works well.

| I usually write a "record a prompt" script in IPCC Express and then
customize it for the system it's meant to work with. It uses the "record a
prompt" step which is pretty easily done.
