Unity Question - add extension into subject?

| We're running Unity 4.1(1) Unified Messaging with Exchange. When we
receive an external call, the email message has a subject of "Message
from xxxxx" where xxxxx is the number the call came from (if caller is
used). The problem is when we receive an internal call and the message
has a subject line of "Message from Rhodes, Geoff". Is there a way to
have Unity append the extension of the user on the end of the subject?
I tried changing the Display Name to "Rhodes, Geoff - x8188", which
works fine, but Unity is integrated into AD so it updates my AD display
name also. Thsi look bad on email messages I send or reply to.
Just curious.

| Change the alerting name maybe?
Or include the extension in the name on Unity...
Or include the extension in AD...

| Unity 4.2 has customizable subject lines with use of the Advanced Settings Tool.
Can have 4 custom subjects
One for interview handler messages
One for live record messages
One for subscriber to subscriber messages
One for unknown caller messages
Insertion variables for subject line modification are
%NAME%
%EXTENSION%
%CALLERID%
%CALLEDID%
