| Is there any way to get around the way the shared line works on the IP
Phone.
I would like for the assistant to have to hit the line button to answer the
line, however,
the shared line answers when the handset is picked up for the phone.
Example. Secretary only answer the line if the Manager is not in and can
monitor the line.

Check the "Always use Prime Line" enterprise parameter.
