Hi

I'm testing a customer's analog lines in preparation for migrating them off
of their key system onto the corporate CCM system. They have 4 analog DID
trunks that work fine on the key system. I have a 2821 gateway with a
VIC2-4FXS/DID card. When I connect the DID trunks to the FXS/DID port and
place an incoming call to a DID I immediately get fast busy. I believe the
signaling to be wink-start but I've tried setting the ports to immediate and
delay with no success. Here's the configuration for one of the ports.

voice-port 0/2/0
signal did immediate

What seems odd to me is that when I debug vpm signal and vtsp all I don't
see anything when I place the call. There's no debug output and the port is
never activated (the green light does not come on). I'm trying to get in
touch with the telco but I thought I'd ask here in the mean time.

I know the card is good (at least it works fine when configured as a station
port card). Is there anything else I'm missing?

I figured it out....

The pair needed to be straight-through on the cable.
