I saw a caution in the Unity install guide stating that you must use
Exchange 2003 as the partner server if you're running Unity on Win 2003.
How true is this? Can anyone explain why? Is anyone running Exchange
2000 with Win 2003?

Thanks,

I'm not the server guy but my understanding is you can't run Exchange
2000 on a Windows 2003 box. And as Unity runs exchange that is why you
would need windows 2k3 to run exchange 2k3.

I'm running one unity server with windows 2k and one with windows 2k3.
both running UM with exchange 2k3 with no problems. (AD2k3, exchange
2k3) Both are digitally networked.

Exchange 2003 MUST run a Win2K3 Server with only Win2K3 DCs.
