| Just got the following errors come up on one of my voice gateways, can
anyone advise what these mean

18:07:00.887: %IPM_C54X-3-HOST_XMIT_BLOCKED: Host is unable to transmit
packets to DSP 0

%DSMP-3-DSP_TIMEOUT: DSP timeout on DSP : event 0x6, DSMP timed out,

What version IOS and what model hardware/voice modules/DSPs?
The S_DSMP_COLLECTING_STATS can be due to a bug involving FAX's, don't
have the bug id offhand. I haven't seen the XMIT_BLOCKED one before
myself.

| You appear to have a bad DSP so there would be several options here:
1. RMA for new PVDMs (4.0 or higher)
2. Change algorithm to skip DSP 0
3. Upgrade code (which in essence incorporates the new algorithm)
I would personally RMA the PVDMs and avoid potential one way audio and
voice quality issues you will soon come across (if you already aren't).

Looks like it must be the code, we have over 20 branch offices with same
setup and since we started to upgrade to this code, the same thing has
happened on 3 different sites, wewere running
c1700-sv8y7-mz.123-11.T3 but this had an issue with connected calls
dropping the digits we had added with translationpatterns so therefore
needed to upgrade.
Incidentally we have had one of these sites running this code for about
a year now with no issues, they have 4 channels of BRI and all the sites
that have had issues are running the code with 8 channels of PRI.
Could you recommend a version of code for 1760 to use?
All the sites appear to be running 3.2 DSP's is this a problem?

1. RMA for new PVDMs (4.0 or higher)
2. Change algorithm to skip DSP 0
3. Upgrade code (which in essence incorporates the new algorithm)
I would personally RMA the PVDMs and avoid potential one way audio and
voice quality issues you will soon come across (if you already aren't).

The S_DSMP_COLLECTING_STATS can be due to a bug involving FAX's, don't hav=
e the bug id offhand. I haven't seen the XMIT_BLOCKED one before myself.
