I'm running CM 4.1 and I get the pop-up for user name and password then
I get a second popup "password needed - networking". How do I get rid
of it? Is this a Java issue?

Yes, but no.

It is a Java issue, but it is more of a certificate issue... You do need to
download the Java element but the login/password is due to a certificate
mismatch...

The problem is that the hostname you are going to (by IP I bet) is not the
same as the certificate on the secure site.

So, try going by hostname and the problem will go away (you will notice that
you don't get the popup thingy when you go to the CCM admin page directly on
the server... and you are going by host name there...)

I may be wrong, but hey, the info is free!
