As a general question why would you replace a 3550 with a 500? Is the
3550 failing or are you trying out the 500 switch?

cat500

We have the cat exp 500 and it confusing to config when you try to
match it to the cat 3550 you are replacing. One of our ports on the
3550 is for an AP with multiple vlans

Int fa 0/23

Switchport access vl 30

Switchport trunk enc dot1q

Switchport trunk allowed vl 10,20,80

Switchport mode trunk

How do I make this happen on a cat exp 500, Will the ap role
automatically allow this
