IP Communicator Problems
|
|
| Thomas Theado 2006-03-21, 5:46 pm |
| I am currently using IP Communicator ver 2.0.1.1, callmanager ver 4.1(2)
and cisco VPN Client ver 4.6.03.0021
When the IP Communicator is running we have two problems. The first is
that we cannot access services such as login for extension mobility and
the second is one way audio.
We had been using the checkpoint VPN client with no problems, but we
have switched to the cisco client and now we are having these issues.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom Theado

| The cisco VPN client has as stateful firewall built in that is enabled.
I have users witht eh one way audio issue due to that exact situation.
Disable that as that is more than likely the cause of your one way audio
and perhaps the IP Services issues.
Joe

| I looked at the statistics for the VPN client and when I make a call the
packets are being discarded.
Thanks,
Tom

You'll need to check the Statistics for the VPN client to ensure you're
passing traffic both ways (Sent and Received), if not it sounds like a
routing issue. Right click on the friendly lock once connected and
select Statistics and let us know what it says.
