Author Callmanager 5.0 log-in failed...

Hey folks,
Been running CCM 5.0 as small pilot installation for about 2 weeks now, and
came to a first (serious?) problem yesterday. Because of some server room
maintenance, the server had to be shut down for a few minutes and started
again. We shut down from the CLI, server went down properly with no error
messages. The same for start-up. But since then, we're unable to login to
CCMAdmin, even CCMUser pages. All of the 3 accounts that we had setup with
access to CCMAdmin receive "Log-in failed" and any other users get the same
when trying to login to their CCMUser page.
I can still access the CLI but I'm nowhere near familiar with what to look
for here. So I'm crawling through the logs but can't find anything
meaningful. In short, what do you do when you're locked out of ccmadmin with
CCM 5.0?
Cheers,
ML

Just as an FYI, I believe we are experiencing this same problem-and we
can't log in using RTMT.

We also saw this once during the beta.

Can you still login with RTMT and pull the tomcat / web logs?

Hi Wes,
We can't login to /CCMService so unless there's a separate way to access
RTMT we can't get to it. I have a TAC case opened now, and it looks like
something went wrong with the database, since queries like "run sql select *
from applicationuser" or even "show tech systemtables" show no output... But
still apart from being unable to login, the system works fine. I can get to
the tomcat/web logs via CLI, right?
Thx,
ML

Just as a future reference for everyone, the problem was that after reboot,
permissions for a ".binding" file got somehow changed, resulting in some
components losing access to the database. Documented in CSCsd38232, had to
be fixed by TAC remote access. Permanent fix included in 5.0(2)1000-3
Cheers,
ML
