Hi All
Does anybody know good documentation for multi-tenant setup. I have been looking for some good documentations about multi-tenanting setup. I have to setup call manager for twenty different clients for twenty different range of extension numbers. Also, cli
ents call between different extension ranges should block. Gateway is MGCP with three T1 PRI circuits. any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks you in advance.

Regards,
Manoj

Hi there,

you define a partition for each tenant, and a calling search space that
includes the partition of the tenant plus other partitions that they may
call (such as outside numbers, voicemail, etc.). Quite easy, actually.

The only thing that is not quite multi-tenant is the corporate directory.

Is that enough documentation for you?

Vincent

CallManager as a core call processor will work in a multitenant
configuration. The supplemental services such as the included corporate
directory were not designed for multitenant setups. You would have to
create your own 3rd party database for this.

But the concepts of partitions/CSS for call processing will work fine in
multitenant. Although you will need to plan a strategy & naming convention
to keep you sane.

Hi Vincent,
Thank you very much for your information. just to make sure do I need to create both partitions and Calling search space for each tenant? Can I share common partition between tenant? I have just line up CSS and partitions which I am planning to use for
new implementation. Am I missing anything? I hope I can block inter-tenant calling using this CSS partitions ???

Manoj

Hi All,
Thank you very much for your information. We are not concerning about AA and per tenant directory service at this point. We provide call service and voice mail only.

Example.

3ed party directory - configured like services in the CCM.

I am user of , for example 4th company I access ccmuser page.

I want sibscribe to the service and see a lot of services from another
organizations.

A lot of things in the CCM, not designed for multi-tenant.

Example 2.

A lot of client? One client begin complain about - anything.

Cisco recommend upgrade - for example/ What do you want to do ??

Another clients not complain.

In the pure theoretical answer, Yes partitions and CSS, this is the way
to implement multitenant.

If you provider? The right way - use Class 5 Softswith.
