MCS hardware mix and match

| Does anyone know if there are there any technical or TAC support issues
with mixing MCS platforms in a CallManager cluster? e.g. 7835 Publisher
with 7825 subscribers?
Thanks,
Derek

| I have assisted numerous customers in just this scenario.
Typical build:
Publisher - 7845
CTI/Extended services - 7835
Subscribers - 7845/7835's depending on number of devices.
Was blessed by TAC and various account teams each time.

| MCS hardware mix and matchWe do that here as well. 7835 pub and tftp server and 7845 subs. We're upgrading to a new 7845 model on the weekend.
Any idea on whether different o/s versions/patches are ok on the servers?

| Of course it is recommended that you run the latest OS versions. There
are no issues I know of with running different OS versions. However,
(I know this is not your question :-) running different versions of CCM
in a cluster is likely to cause issues and is not supported, even if it
is as minor as a difference in SR or ES level.
