| In a call manager system I have my operator attached through a pbx, can I
make it so users can just dial "0"
and convert this to a seven digit number to dial thru to the pbx?
Also, if I have a range of extensions from 1001 - 1010, I would like anyone
who dial 1002-1010 to be directed to 1001?
Is this possbile in CM 4.1.3? All extensions should have full dial out
capability
Thanks
Bob

| You can use Translation Patterns to solve both of these issues. Create
a Translation Pattern for 0 and translate the called number to the 7
digit number. Make sure to set the CSS appropriately.
For the second you can create two Translation Patterns; one pattern of
100[2-9] and the other of 1010. Translate the called number to 1001
and set the CSS.

| The CSS will need to contain the Partition(s) that you want the numbers
translated to. In your case it sounds like you will use the one CSS
for all phones.
