| I havent seen a best practice rule, or even a rule of thumb, as
traffic really depends on the user behavior. Some businesses may make
more outbound or recieve more inbound calls than others if that is
their primary funtion. Perhaps look into doing a traffic analysis on
their existing usuage, but often an office manager readily knows their
users requirements.

calculations.
