Hi all,

We are looking for a replacement for the 827-4V that we have been
deploying to locations that need 4 lines of G.729 faxing/calling
capabilities. This was a relatively inexpensive solution with the
827-4V to bring 4 FXS ports that could handle 4 G.729 calls/faxes. ATAs
aren't going to work due to only being able to handle one G.729 call and
we would need 4 of them at each location which isn't ideal. These sites
are over vsat links so G.729 is mandatory. The 1751-V is significantly
more expensive for this purpose.

Does anyone know of any other solution that has 4 FXS ports that can
handle 4 G.729 faxes/calls at a cost similar to the 827-4V that uses
H.323/SCCP/MGCP?

TIA!

Keith
