I've been slacking off for a while, but am now getting ready to bring our
VoIP system back to currency. We're now running OS 2000.4.2sr1, and it
looks like I can either upgrade to 2000-4-2sr9, or 2000-4-3a-sr2 (via 3a
alone). Am I missing something? Is one to be preferred over the other, Why
the choice?

Running on a Compaq DL-380 G2.

4.3 is going to be the primary sustained version going forward.

Is there an upgrade path from 2000-4-2 to 2000-4-3?

The OS 2000-4-3sr2 readme states do not apply this to OS 2000-4-2
servers.

The SR2 docs would say that as you would need to upgrade to the
2000.4.3atrain first using the upgrade installer. The release notes
for the
2000.4.3a install note a minimum OS level which includes 2000.4.2

Path should be 'win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-4-3a.exe' followed by '
win-OS-Upgrade-K9.2000-4-3a-sr2.exe'.
