VPN Concentrator <-> Internet <-> Generic Router <-> PIX 501 <-> IP
Phone

I have a few cisco IP hard phones that are connected via hardware VPN
(PIX 501) to our network. On PIXs with 6.3(4) IOS on it, you get a
'Host Not Found' when you press the Directory button on the phone.
However, on the PIX with 6.3(1) IOS it, it works just fine. Does anyone
know what could be possibly causing this?

Thanks in advance.

Are you using DNS for the hostname, if so switch to ip address?

Different DNS settings in the DHCP, domain suffix, etc?

A quick sniffer trace on the client should show the differences between
the two requests.
