|

| Anthony Kouloglou 2006-08-24, 1:12 pm |
| i have several 7940 and 7941G-GE phones that use a dhcp server
configured on an IOS gateway.
I have changed the domain-name option at the dhcp but i cannot force the
phone to reacquire the new setting.
I have tried resetting the phone, restarting the phone and releasing the
IP address but nothing is happening!! It keeps the old setting!!
Can someone help with that?
Thanks

Press "Settings" -> "* * #", 33, yes, save.
Pretty sure it is 33.
Thanks
Matt

| The '41s '61s' and 7x use a different method of clearing the config. The
settings, 3, 33, method only works on '40s or '60s.
I have yet to find the method to clear the 'X1s or '7Xs.
