Personal Fast Dials as line button

| I saw a 7970 ip phone that had a speed dials line button, when pressed the
Personal Fast Dials
appeared on the lcd. How do I configure this in ccm? Or could they be
using a third party program?
This seems to make more sense for the user instead of the unwieldy 7914
modules.

| They likely had the button defined as a services URL button, which brought them to their personal fast dials service.

| ok --- related question...
How do you build a personal speed dial list that is displayable on the
phone and can dial as needed?
I figured out how to write enough XML to display a simple list for
hand-dialing, but not a list that would actually provide 'dial' like
the CorpDirectory does...

| You could build it like a menu (CiscoIPPhoneMenu object) and use the
Dial:xxxx URI.
This is how we hacked a custom implementation of corporate directory.

| It's an IP phone service that you subscribe phones to. Then, you use the CCMuser pages or the phone based editor to manipulate entries.

| I believe you configure the services URL button in the phone button template, assign it to the phone, then in the top right corner an "assign services to button" appears or something like that. Then you just put the same service URL as in the subscription.
