I can't tell you for sure as I've never seen a good explanation of
what order the directory returns the list of users associated to a
given device and whether ART uses the first, last, or just picks at
random.

If the user in question has a userid higher in the alphabet than
rmjtapi then I think it's safe to assume it's not alphabetical. In
that case try removing all device associations, then adding the user
followed by rmjtapi. Maybe this will get it so the right user is
picked.

Right. Problem is this is a 3.3 system so Owner User ID not available
until a upgrade is done.

So if we remove all the device associations except for one, and wipe
ART that will corect the data for a bit. But is there any way to
maybe put the device associations back in a certain order to get it
to stick with the user id of the user and not rmjtapi or NULL? Some
of the records have a NULL user id now but theres devices associated
but it's probably choosing NULL due to seeing multples and going with
first thing it see's.

Department report

Set owner userid in the Device page in CCMAdmin. Note that this
setting is not compatible with EM.

Also note that since this sets a field in the CDR record itself it
will not change the records already in the ART database. To do that
you need to wipe the ART db, then remove all device associations
except for the user you want, let ART re-import the entire CDR db,
then re-associate the device to any application users necessary.
Remember this will affect your CTI apps while the device is
unassociated.

Nevermind ( I think )... this is due to the users phone being
associated to both their user id, and the rmjtapi user for IPCC stuff
and I recall ART did not do well sometimes if a device was associated
to multiple users. Is setting the controlled device or owner fields
the way to fix this or ? They need the phone associated to the
rmjtapi for ipcc.

Subject: [cisco-voip] One users calls not showing up in ART
Department report

Have a CDR/ART report where we do a user department report and select
this one users extension and it reports 0 calls made. There are
other users with same setup that show calls for this report. I
looked at the ART database and the billing_data table and did a query
and see plenty of entries for this extension/user making calls.

Checked the global directory and compared this user against others
who show data for same report, and they are set for same department,
etc.

Anyone have any ideas?
